Setting myself goals has become such a useful, productive tool for me and I’ve noticed that since I’ve started setting goals for myself, I am achieving them more now rather than just staying in a wishful thinking state. Having set goals allows me to take control of my life and design my future the way I want it to be, and using the Law of Attraction is a huge boost for me to help achieve my goals. They help me move forward with my life, thus creating opportunities for me and by having these goals, no one can come to me with their negative comments because, I’m on the road to my desired achievements. I dislike wishful thinking because to me, wishful thinking is a state/energy that you’re projecting out to the world that you’re not deserving of what you want. Whatever you want, go get it! Make a plan and do the work!
So, as we enter a beautiful new season full of cherry blossoms, more sunshine, milder weather and beautiful flowers, here are my goals for the whole of April 2021:
30 Day Fitness Challenges
I’ve been working out now for quite a while and whilst I am seeing some improvements especially in my fitness levels, I’ve decided to spice things up a bit. I’ve taken on the following challenges to help me work towards my long term fitness goals in addition to my regular fitness routine:
- TRIM & TONE ARMS 30 DAY CHALLENGE
- 30 DAY PLANK CHALLENGE
- 30 DAY SQUAT CHALLENGE
To be honest, I think the above is a workout in itself 😊
Achieve my NLP Practitioner & Master Practitioner Accreditation
Having achieved my Law of Attraction Coach Practitioner certification last month, I have signed up and currently studying an NLP Practitioner & Master Practitioner course. This is a challenging one for me as it’s a very lengthy course and it’s all by video so a high level of self motivation and self discipline is required. I am thoroughly enjoying it though, I enjoy subjects around these areas which is making it a lot easier for me to go through. The teacher is great too, very interactive and explains things in simple terms which helps me to understand.
Learn to Fully Let Go & Detach from my Past
This is another tough one but I believe in order to fully move forward with my life, I must continue with letting go of my past. I don’t mean forgetting what’s happened but detach myself because I am not a fan of living in the past – I think living in the past is very detrimental to our futures. My head and my energy has spent enough time in the past and it’s time for me to now move forward with my life. I have been working on this for sometime and although it’s a gradual process, I am planning to start using the methods I am learning in my NLP course to allow me to let go and breathe a sigh of relief.
Eat More WholeFoods
I’ve been on a healthy lifestyle for a while now and it’s time to take it up a notch. I’ve just bought a new book called ‘Feel Great, Lose Weight’, by Dr Rangan Chatterjee and he provides so many helpful tips and tricks on how to live a life eating whole foods and moving more. His book is full of holistic approaches on how to live a more calmer life with increased energy, weight loss that is fun and more positive habits around our lifestyle. I’m amazed at what I’ve learned so far, so onwards and upwards in this goal for me 😊
Focus on Strength Training
I’ve recently started this and this also part of my other goal in my 30 Day Fitness Challenges section above. Cardio is great (I’ve been doing a lot of it) but it doesn’t have quite the same effect and impact as strength training does so I dug out my dumbbells the other day, plus getting my squat on to really help tone up and feel stronger & better internally and externally! 💪
These are my goals for April 2021. I like to have things to work on, it gives me a sense of purpose, a sense of personal satisfaction and it makes me work harder. Goal setting is great because having goals prevents me from wandering through life aimlessly with nothing to work towards 💕
